BUFFALO, NY, March 15, 2019 | Lawley and the Construction Exchange of Buffalo & WNY (CEX) have announced, starting March 1st, 2019, that they have formed a partnership to provide safety and risk management services to the members of CEX.

CEX is a trade association that has served the local construction industry since 1981. Their main mission is to enhance the growth and prosperity of member companies by providing information & education to the construction industry. Working with Lawley’s Safety & Risk management team will help power their mission.

“What we have learned from our members is that the safer the workplace, the better the job gets done. This starts at a fundamental level with risk management and safety. The Lawley team has been doing this for decades with clients in their construction practice group (Lawley Construction Services), so they understand the unique needs of organizations within the construction industry,” says Joseph Benedict, Jr., CEX’s Executive Director. He adds, “Their reputation for being dedicated to safety is well-earned and that’s why we are so happy to bring them on board for members. What you will gain from their team can help protect workers on the site and may even help save you money down the road when it comes to Workers’ Compensation claims that are a drain to your time, resources, and bottom line .”

“Lawley’s Safety & Risk Management team & the team at CEX couldn’t be a better match. Our team works day in and day out to proactively assist our construction clients with safety concerns, back-to-work plans, OSHA compliance and much more. We’re out there getting our hands dirty on work sites and making sure our clients have implemented best practices to keep their workers as safe as possible,” says Nicholas Getty, CHST, Lawley’s Senior Loss Control Consultant. “CEX exists to serve their membership and improve the Western New York Construction industry. We’re excited to partner with such a great organization and be an important part of helping them fulfill that role.”

Lawley will be giving one free assessment, on either a job site or at your facility, to any of CEX’s members if they contact Construction Exchange Safety Services within 6 months of the March 1st, 2019 launch.
