Prior to Lawley, Melissa gained 10+ years of experience in the education field as a secondary science educator and community service coordinator. She continues to draw on this background by developing effective client relationships and supporting various
philanthropic events at Lawley.

Melissa joined Lawley when Professional Insurance Services merged with Lawley in 2025.

Melissa holds a General Lines 220 License.

Education:

She earned a master’s degree from the University of Tampa and bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida.

Community and Pro Bono:

Melissa supports several organizations through the agency including Moffit Cancer Center, American Cancer Association’s Relay for Life, Metropolitan Ministries, The Spring of Tampa Bay, and the Egypt Shriners.
