As a director of sales development, Jed specializes in organizational growth, collaboration, and operational performance.

Jed develops structured training and coaching programs in collaboration with the learning & development department to support the recruitment and onboarding of producers and reinforces accountability through regular performance reviews.

Experience:

With 20+ years of industry experience, Jed leads the execution of a comprehensive sales development strategy that aligns with Lawley’s growth objectives across property & casualty and employee benefits divisions. He collaborates closely with producers to enhance client relationships, generate new business and cross-selling opportunities, and
build scalable practices that support sustained growth and continuity.

Partnering with agency leadership, Jed drives market focus and producer performance, establishing consistent sales processes, including prospecting, pipeline management, and performance tracking. Additionally, he works with the Learning & Development team to design structured training and coaching programs, supports the recruitment and onboarding of producers, and promotes accountability through regular performance evaluations.

Prior to Lawley, Jed served as Upstate New York Platform President at Gallagher, where he contributed to commercial, personal, and employee benefits strategies. Through a series of acquisitions, he held successive leadership roles within the same organization, serving as Agency President under AssuredPartners Buffalo and previously as President of Vanner Insurance Agency.

Education:

Jed earned a bachelor’s degree from Canisius University.
