Experience:

With 15+ years of experience at Lawley, Mike has built a reputation for guiding clients through complex risk landscapes. He works closely with organizations facing intricate exposures, leveraging his technical background and broad insurance knowledge to deliver true advisory value. Through this knowledge, Mike helps companies strengthen their risk management strategies and optimize their insurance programs. Mike was previously an Insurance Advisor at Lawley.

Prior to Lawley, he worked as an independent insurance consultant in the New York City area. Earlier in his career, Mike gained industry experience in the wireless sector and spent several years as an electrical contractor, providing him with a practical understanding of field operations, safety exposures, and the realities of project‑based work, which he uses in his role at Lawley.

Mike is a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), a Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist (CRIS), an Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), and an Energy Risk & Insurance Specialist (ERIS).

Education:

Mike earned his bachelor’s degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey and an associate’s degree from Champlain College of Vermont.

Community and Pro Bono:

Mike serves on the board of Torn Space Theater, a local non-profit theater company.
