Lawley is in search of an Employee Benefits Account Executive for their Employee Benefits Group Enterprise Team in Mahopac NY / Connecticut! This position would focus on account service and strategic initiatives including plan analysis and acting as a liaison between the client and carrier. The ideal candidate would have insurance experience in account management, a LAH license, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Fundamental Components of the Job:
- Manage account service and strategic initiatives including plan analysis and acting as a liaison between the client and carrier
- Respond to client inquiries, renewals, benefit changes as needed and communicate through group meetings for enrollment
- Work with carriers to facilitate presentations for clients, or conduct presentations personally
- Identify cross selling opportunities within Lawley Benefits Group (LBG) and refer clients to other product lines
- Reach and maintain client retention goal of 95% or greater
Other functions of the job:
- Expand and grow in your role when supporting miscellaneous duties as requested
Skills/Traits That We Value for This Role:
- Insurance experience in customer service or account management for 3 years or more
- Life Accident & Health License
- Relevant knowledge of group insurance products, documents and usages
- Computers skills are a must; Including Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
- Demonstrated relationship building skills
- Ability to work well independently and on a team
- Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills
- Open to continuing education, college degree preferred
- Positive attitude, even in a fast-paced environment
- A passion to make customers and coworkers feel important and valued
- Capability to work quickly and efficiently
- Methodical, yet swift decision-making skills

The compensation range for this position takes many factors into consideration including but not limited to: years of experience/training, skill set, and licenses/designations. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for a position as circumstances and location can vary in every hiring situation. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $56,750 to $101,279.75.
