Healthcare Reform

It is now clear that global day-to-day operations have been severely interrupted as the U.S. and the rest of the world face the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic together.

We recently wrote a corporate communication specific to insurance on March 13th, 2020 to address immediate concerns. Click here for a copy of that communication.

However, we also wanted to address Lawley’s business continuity plan and let all of our clients, contacts, and communities know that we are in this together and we will stand by you during these trying times.

  1. The health and well-being of our employees and our clients is of utmost importance. We have developed an internal task force to deal with questions and concerns. Additionally, we have created an online portal for questions having to do with insurance and COVID-19. You can access it here. Questions are being handled by our experienced insurance professionals who can help guide and advise clients during this fluid situation.
  2. Lawley strives to be socially responsible and a good corporate partner. To that end, and like hundreds of companies across the United States currently experiencing it, we are informing you that we have received notification of a positive case of COVID-19 of a Lawley associate in our Buffalo, NY location. (Please know that we have already been in contact with anyone that we know had direct contact with this individual). Due to HIPAA compliance we have shared as much information as we are able to about this situation, but if you have further questions do not hesitate to reach out to us.
  3. Although insurance has been declared an essential industry, Lawley is allowing nearly 100% of our employees to work remotely in order to promote social distancing procedures outlined by the Federal Government and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Our teams can still be reached via their regular business phone numbers and email addresses and our switchboard is still fully functional. Also, instead of any physical visits to our offices, we are asking clients to use Lawley’s online and digital methods of communication and resources including MyWaveLawley Benefits University, and our website. If you need any other resources, our team will be happy to provide those to you or you can visit our resources page here
  4. All of our 11 branch locations have been instructed to limit onsite meetings and visitors. We ask that during this situation you call or email as opposed to coming to our offices.
  5. If any of our associates are feeling ill, they are able to stay at home. We are abiding by all quarantine and social distancing procedures as outlined by the government and CDC.
  6. Our corporate teams are working diligently to ensure that business will continue as you have come to expect. We are continuously monitoring new developments so that we can adapt and provide you with the service you deserve.

We thank you for the trust you place in Lawley and for your patience during this ongoing situation. As we learn more, we will keep you updated.
