As a business insurance training specialist, Michelle specializes in
business insurance, educational consulting, and corporate training.

Experience:

With 20+ years of experience, Michelle delivers workflow, procedure, and coverage training for staff and new hires, collaborates on sales and service initiatives, and maintains departmental communication resources. She also monitors training effectiveness through reporting and partners with managers and learning & development teams to support associate growth and consistency across all locations.

Prior to Lawley, Michelle built a diverse career spanning insurance operations, education, and technology. She has managed sales operations, taught computer software and business skills in both corporate and academic settings, and owned a training company. Her experience also includes IT project coordination, office management, and serving as a school library media specialist.

Accreditations:

Michelle holds a Women Owned Business certification, a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Expert certification, and a NYS Public Librarian & School Library Media Specialist certification.

Michelle is a member of Buffalo Niagara’s Association of Training & Development (ATD), the Southtowns Business Network, and Buffalo Niagara Partnership.

Education:

Michelle earned a master’s degree from University at Buffalo and a bachelor’s degree from Buffalo State University

Community and Pro Bono:

Michelle is actively involved in her community, serving as a volunteer for St. Francis High School, and as a member of the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce & Rotary Club. She is a former PTA president for St. Gabriel Church and a former member of Queen of Heaven School’s parents guild.
