As a business insurance senior account executive, Michael specializes in professional liability, specialty insurance, property insurance, and workers’ compensation.
Experience:
Prior to Lawley, Michael gained extensive experience in commercial insurance and risk management consulting. As managing partner of an independent agency, he oversaw all aspects of business operations, which provided him with a comprehensive understanding of both client and organizational needs.
Accreditations:
Michael is an Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) and holds a NYS Property & Casualty license and Life, Accident, & Health license.
Industry Affiliations:
Formerly, he was a board member of the Independent Insurance Agents Association of New York (IIANY) and an advisory board member of Allstate Insurance Company and Erie and Niagara Insurance Association.
Education:
Michael earned a bachelor’s degree from St. John Fisher University.
Honors:
Michael was twice recognized as Volunteer Board Member of the Year by the YMCA of Olean, NY and Bradford, PA. He was also honored by Olean Rotary Club with the Paul Harris Award for embracing Rotary’s principle of “Service Above Self.”
Community and Pro Bono:
Michael supports the YMCA of Olean, NY and Bradford, PA, and the United Way of Cattaraugus and Allegany Counties. He also serves on the HR Committee for the Cattaraugus County Regional Foundation.
