As a captive account associate, Kiernan specializes in worker’s compensation,
general liability, and auto insurance.

Experience:

Kiernan supports the evaluation and qualification of prospects for group captives and assists throughout the quote, sales, and documentation process. He facilitates timely and accurate renewals for existing captive clients, ensuring all information needed to bind coverage is communicated and recorded properly.

Kiernan also manages new business submissions by assembling and tracking client data, performs ad hoc analyses related to captive performance, and reconciles shareholder documents for both new and renewal accounts.

Prior to Lawley, Kiernan was a semi-professional athlete, where he gained experience in teamwork and determination, skills he now uses to assist clients and the captive team.

Education:

Kiernan holds a master’s degree from Virginia Tech, where he completed a capstone project with NASA to develop strategic skills. He also has a bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University.
