As a business insurance claims consultant, Chrissie specializes in claims, captive insurance, and customer service.

Experience:

With 5+ years of experience, Chrissie guides clients and third-party claimants through the claims process from the very first report, ensuring they receive attentive support and clear communication. She leverages her knowledge of business insurance policies to assess current coverages, review and challenge coverage  denials, and negotiate favorable resolutions with carriers and clients. Summer is skilled in evaluating reserves, recommending appropriate coverage, and conducting thorough open claim
reviews to ensure proper handling and timely settlements.

Prior to Lawley, Chrissie worked as an assistant account manager in large commercial and captive accounts, where she gained valuable knowledge of claims and the nuances needed to best assist clients. Chrissie joined Lawley when Shoff Darby Insurance Agency merged with Lawley in 2023.

Community and Pro Bono:

Chrissie has served the Shelton community for over 30 years through her work with the Registrar of Voters as a Moderator and Assistant Registrar, participating in elections and helping residents register to vote.
