Top 100 insurance broker enhances risk management team with construction insurance specialist and OSHA authorized trainer to help deliver safety programs for companies of all sizes
Buffalo, NY (Oct. 19, 2017) – Lawley, one of the largest independent insurance brokers in the United States according to Business Insurance, formally announces the addition of loss control veteran Bob Overhoff, Jr. as Loss Control Manager.
Previously the Director of Corporate Safety at LPCiminelli, Overhoff, Jr. will work out of Lawley’s headquarters in Buffalo, NY helping customers across Lawley branches in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Overhoff, Jr. joins Lawley with over 25 years of experience, which has ranged from developing and updating corporate safety and training programs, to risk management consulting in construction, general industry, municipal, and fleet safety, among others.

His vast knowledge ensuring compliance and safety programs, along with his construction insurance work, will be a great resource to companies looking to reduce their risk,” stated Chris Ross, Lawley Principal.

Overhoff, Jr. is extremely active in his field and currently serves as a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. He’s also an OSHA Authorized Trainer, member of the Safety Services Board of Directors for the Construction Exchange of WNY, treasurer and committee board member for the WNY Safety Conference, and the past president and treasurer for the Niagara Frontier Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
Throughout his career, Overhoff, Jr. has received a number of awards and recognitions for his expertise, including the ASSE Niagara Frontier Chapter Safety Professional of the Year (2006), WNY Safety Conference Edward J. Waring Award, Associated General Contractors of NY Safety Excellence Awards, and more.
