Buffalo Insurance Agent Named ‘Young Agent of the Year’

Ashley Engl, operations analyst at Lawley, was recently honored for her work by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of New York, or IIABNY, for her work within the local independent insurance agents chapter and her community involvement efforts, one of the five core values at Lawley. Engl was named ‘Young Agent of the Year’ at IIABNY’s recent trade group gathering.

Ashley Engl, operations analyst for Buffalo-based insurance agency Lawley, received the Joel S. Pollack Young Agent of the Year Award recently from the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of New York (IIABNY). Louis Atti, CPCU, a member of the IIABNY board of directors and vice-president of The Evans Agency in Derby, presented the award during a dinner hosted by the Independent Insurance Agents Association of Western New York (IIAAWNY), following its golf outing at the Crag Burn Golf Club in East Aurora.

The Pollack Young Agent of the Year Award “recognizes the achievements of an outstanding young agent committed to the independent agency system, active in civic and charitable organizations, professional and of high moral character in all undertakings.” Engl was honored for her work as a member of the IIAAWNY board, her work with IIABNY’s Next Generation of Insurance Professionals group, and her involvement with the Lancaster High School Academy of Finance.
