Mike has been in the insurance industry since 2003. As a partner, Mike has an integral role in the expansion of sales and community relations in the Rochester market as well as primary oversight of the sales and service teams. In addition, Mike facilitates and implements strategic initiatives in the Rochester area market.

His vast business experience coupled with his experience in health care enable him to deliver quality, attentive service and unique benefit solutions. As a former business owner, Mike has extensive knowledge in strategic planning with an emphasis in creating cost-effective health care solutions for companies throughout Upstate New York.

Experience:

Mike has nearly 15 years experience in the insurance industry. Specializes in alternate funding arrangements including Healthcare Captives, Self Insurance and Private Exchanges and develops health management programs to mitigate risks and control benefit costs. Prior to joining Lawley, Mike owned an employee benefits consulting company and managed more than 150 large corporate accounts for Excellus BlueCross BlueShield.

Mike has spoken at numerous seminars and has been featured on local radio shows sharing his industry expertise. He is a freelance writer for Benefits Selling Magazine and for an online human resource website.

Community and Pro Bono:

Mike serves on the Board of Directors for the Small Business Council in Rochester. Mike is actively involved with Penfield Little League and the Webster Jr. Warriors/Jr. Titans.

Mike is also involved in numerous nonprofits across the Rochester area.
